The textbook covers aesthetic laser physics, types of lasers, indications and applications in dermatology as well as tissue regeneration therapies post operative ablative procedures.
Genetic factors are discussed when determining ethnic parameters for optimal client outcomes. The practitioner will acquire a thorough understanding of managing skin conditions with a synergistic approach using various modalities and stacking applications.
The material concludes with a study in laser safety and the role of the Medical Laser Safety Officer and discusses the standard of care and how to provide a layer of legal protection in case of disputes or malpractice claims.
